Spend a day in 2032. Now and again we need to rise above the day-to-day concerns - dare to dream, to discover something new, and not only improve the existing. Spend a day in 2032 - 25 years from now. The long term perspective offers a license to be creative, time travelling lets you think outside the box.


A Guided Tour to the Market in 2032

We start by organising a number of expeditions, teams of 3 to 6 participants that will venture into the future together; they will make observations and return to the present with their findings. Most likely each team of time travellers will unveil something different - the future is an open space of opportunities. All we need to do is to disclose them. The expedition travelling in time is the creative tool that will enable us to make good and sound business decisions today. In the end, we will take a vote on which expeditions were able to bring the most interesting results back from the future.

 

Rolf Jensen, the head of Dream Company Inc and the author of several book son future studies and story telling, will be your guide. Before take off, the guide will tell you about the destination and offer some good advice about things you will meet on your travels to the future, what to pay special attention to and where to tread with care. Then it is time for the expeditions to start travelling and take their businesses to the year 2031. The parts are distributed in the following manner:

  • The guide will inform, inspire and paint a picture the world surrounding your business in the future.
  • The expeditions will transform the inspiration to your business and the market that you are on.

At each destination the participants will dream, think creatively, rise to the skies and see things from a bird's perspective. This is the heart phase. Next step is the brain phase: The rational, a reality check. The last step is implementation - turning ideas into products.

 

Documenting the results is essential. At the end of the seminar the expeditions will present their findings to each other, and vote to nominate the best contribution. We will compile a list of the suggested initiatives that can be implemented in the business in the near future.

 

Before launching a day in the future Dream Company ensures that the form of the seminar is adapted to the particular needs of your business. It is important for us to know your business, your market and your expectations. It enables us to pose the relevant questions to the participants during the seminar. "A day in the future" can be carried through with just one company - you can invite a chosen number of clients and suppliers. Alternatively the seminar can be arranged with several participating companies in the same (or different) line of business.
